There are 12 Master Thatcher's Associations that cover the whole of Great Britain.
The Ox, Berks & Bucks, Master Thatchers Association was formed in 1947.
Today, membership of a Master Thatcher's Association is gained by the judgement of the applicants peers at the time of entry, also a minimum of four years thatching experience is required, this is to make sure that all members are of the highest quality craftsmen expected by you.
The aims of the Master Thatchers Asscosiation are straight forward - to promote the highest standards of thatching together with a responsible and reliable approach to the customer.
